Westfield council OKs 30 mph for Tomlinson Road

On Sept. 14, 2026, the Westfield City Council voted 6-1 to reduce the speed limit on Tomlinson Road from 40 mph to 30 mph after months of advocacy from the parents of a child killed in a June crash and other residents. City engineers had recommended 35 mph, but the council amended the ordinance to 30 mph.

The article says the clinic, led by Dr. Zachary Wolfe, is the first Indiana health system to offer specialized evaluation and testing for inherited blood-cancer risk.
