Carmel posts 2027 $252.4M departmental budget presentations online for public and council review
Carmel officials have posted department-level presentations and supporting materials for the proposed $252.4 million 2027 budget online, allowing residents and City Councilors to review and submit questions ahead of a joint meeting Sept. 28 and a formal City Council presentation Oct. 5.
Carmel city officials uploaded recorded department budget presentations, individual PowerPoint decks and supplemental materials to a public webpage for the 2027 budget cycle. The materials cover the proposed $252.4 million budget and are available for advance review by residents and members of the City Council.
The city is accepting questions at budget@carmel.in.gov and will publish submitted questions and the city’s answers in a dedicated Q&A section on the webpage. City leaders plan a livestreamed joint meeting with Mayor Sue Finkam and the City Council on Sept. 28 to discuss the proposal; the formal budget presentation is scheduled for the Council’s Oct. 5 meeting.
