Indy Chamber names Alan Pyrz COO to strengthen operations supporting Indianapolis businesses
The Indy Chamber has appointed Alan Pyrz as chief operating officer. Pyrz will lead internal operations and organizational strategy, overseeing systems and processes that support the Chamber’s work for businesses and communities; he co-founded eGov Strategies and held senior executive roles after its 2020 sale.
The Indy Chamber named Alan Pyrz chief operating officer. In the role he will oversee internal operations and organizational strategy, focusing on the systems, processes and infrastructure that support the Chamber’s work for businesses and communities in the Indianapolis region. Chamber president and CEO Matt Mindrum said Pyrz’s combination of entrepreneurial perspective and operational discipline will be valuable as the organization strengthens its work across the region.
Pyrz co-founded Indianapolis-based eGov Strategies and helped grow it to serve more than 600 government and utility clients across 35 states; the company was acquired in 2020. After the sale he held senior executive roles with responsibilities spanning operations, integration, technology strategy and organizational leadership. Pyrz holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Purdue and a Juris Doctor from Indiana University, and has lived in Indianapolis for 30 years.
